The Center evaluates and dispenses all types of hearing aids, including analog, digital and programmable. All hearing aid styles are available: in-the-ear, in-the-canal, behind-the-ear, and body-worn. Hearing aids are available for special needs including bone conduction hearing aids and implantable hearing aids. Amplification can be purchased at Beth Israel Medical Center or at another facility of the patient's choice.
All Types of Molds
We make earmolds for amplification, swim molds, ear protection for people exposed to loud noise, and musician's molds.
FM Systems
A variety of FM systems and other listening systems are available, including systems that can be used alone, systems used with hearing aids and systems used with cochlear implants.
Assistive Technology
Assistive technology is available to improve communication for various environmental and communication needs.
We dispense a variety of assistive systems including telephone listening systems, group and individual listening systems, and alarm and alerting systems.
Cochlear Implants
Patients who do not receive sufficient benefit from hearing aids can be referred for cochlear implant evaluations.
